Sri Lanka

 

            My country name is Sri Lanka. It is an island. It is located in the Indian ocean. The capital city of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte.There are nine provinces and 25 districts.There are Sinhala, Tamil ,Muslim and Burghers communities.The official language of my country is Sinhala. The currency is the Sri Lankan rupee. Sri Lanka exports coconut, tea, rubber, garments and spices.

                           My country has different climatic conditions. There are rain forests, natural reserves; and environmental hot spots.Many tourists visit Sri Lanka to see its natural beauty. There are waterfalls, rivers, mountains, and a large number of tanks.The people do farming, business, construction and government jobs. They live happily.

    There are many religious places connected to Buddhism such as the Ruwanweliseya, Temple of the Tooth, the Kelaniya temple and other historical and religious ruins.

I am very happy to be born in this beautiful country. I am proud of my country. I love my motherland. “May all gods bless my country” I love my beautiful country forever.
